SandraLaya Ruch offers a wide range of workshops that appeal to everyone. They are great for night out for a group of friends or colleagues or an employee appreciation event. These workshops have been very popular with agencies that work with those who are rebuilding their lives after personal crisis.

This workshop explores the basic skills of personal journaling or diary keeping.  Each participant receives a book to start writing in.  Journaling is one the most effective methods of self help and self exploration.  It is a useful tool for managing stress.  The key to successful journal writing is not just to record facts but to explore the emotions and feelings around the event.  This workshop teaches different strategies for successful journaling.

Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. This workshop explains how essential oils affect us both physically and emotionally.  Each participant will have an opportunity to learn about the healing properties of different oils and how to use them to our advantage in daily life.

A relaxing session of guided mediatation where each participant creates a “safe place” to go to within themselves.  It is an excellent self calming technique.  In this safe place we are able to create the world that we deserve to live in.  The participant will have an opportunity to experience a guided meditation and to learn ways to use mediation in their daily life.  This is a proven method of coping with stress.

Dream Pillows

This workshop studies the emotional and physical healing properties of a variety of herbs.  Using the herbs, the participant makes a dream pillow to enhance the ability to sleep.

This workshop discusses ways to create an inexpensive wardrobe and will provide information on colour coordinating, fabrics, and finding the best look for each individual.  We also explore the resources available in our city to find clothing that is affordable for women with a limited income.

In this workshop the participant learns of specific foods that have healing properties and special recipes that are simple, delicious and promote healing within our bodies. Take home a recipe for a healing broth and so much more.
